DIANA GONZÁLEZ

Diana’s introduction to politics happened in her early teenage years, when she saw firsthand how her school district repeatedly denied essential services to her developmentally delayed sister, while showering advanced students like herself with more opportunities than they could possibly use. She realized that government leaders have the power to create obstacles for some and advantages for others, and often use that power to create advantages for those who don’t need advantages, and obstacles for those who are struggling. Ever since, Diana has been committed to supporting candidates who believe that government should first and foremost help the people who need help.

Diana started working on political campaigns in 2006, and has worked as a field director, finance director, and campaign manager on campaigns around the country and in her adopted home of New York, NY. She has been exclusively based in Brooklyn since 2011, when she took on the role of Executive Director of the Kings County Democratic County Committee.

In 2020, Diana converted her fundraising consultancy into a full-service firm, Blue Tiger Strategies, after repeatedly seeing that her clients needed her help with much more than just fundraising. As a general consultant, Diana brings to the table a wealth of experience building efficient and effective campaign organizations and a skill for helping candidates connecting with voters authentically through personal stories.

Diana lives in the Windsor Terrace neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. She is the President of the Central Brooklyn Independent Democrats, a reform-minded local Democratic club, and a member of Brooklyn Community Board 7, where she is Vice Chair of the Environment and Sanitation Committee. Diana is also the Corresponding Secretary of the 44th Assembly District Democratic Committee and a member of the Kings County Democratic County Committee.
